Jukedeck research this week unveiled a piece of music completely composed.written by Artificial intelligence (AI).
This is the first time a computer has written and produced a complete ‘song’, from start to finish. Jukedeck specified the genre and duration — everything else was generated completely by AI.
Now if you ask us it needs a little help with naming its songs, but here it is.
This could prove really interesting, who knows - in the future you could simply ask your music system to compose music for you on the fly. Why not go further and have the computer read your mood and decide what best music to compose for you - It's not such a stretch from what happened here, to exactly that.
