Project Brief

Layan Hills saw us engaged by most of the home owners on the estate. Many wanted to have the latest in multi room audio with a Sonos wireless system to listen to music throughout their home. We also installed a number of lighting control systems and home cinemas into individual properties in the estate.

One special property has KNX lighting control, multi room audio in all rooms, outdoor rock speakers, cinema room and an underwater speaker. 

Challenges

Each villa is different and every home-owner has their own vision. Every system was tailored to the individual villa and owner.

This means we had to be meticulous in our systems design so that each owner got something special just for them.  

Each villa was approached as an entirely individual project, with it's own design and features - we just happened to be doing 8 or 9 of them in the same development.

Summary

We really enjoyed our work at Layan Hills, many of the owners live here full time and make great use of our systems, which we love to hear about.

It can be tricky when working on multiple near-identical villas with very different systems but our engineering team did an excellent job.

They are still selling some of the last properties on the Estate so we look forward to working with any new owners in the near future.
