Project Brief

Working closely with Fredo Taffin (Ku De Ta) our client envisioned a luxurious Phuket beach side retreat with a penchant for entertainment.

A Sonos music system was key to being able to listen to internet radio from around the world.  

The client was so happy with the villa that it was decided a home theatre would  be a welcome addition to make it even more fun. The theatre features motorised recliners, a media centre and one-touch remote control.

Challenges

The Sonos audio system was split over 4 levels with the lower level being added at a later stage.  It was important that the network was enlarged to enable control over the entire villa.

As such we hardwired in additional circuits to the levels so that the system didn't drop off and everyone could control it from anywhere within the villa.

Summary

The villa is used year round and occasionally rented out for special events or as part of the hotel pool.  As such it was imperative that it was easy to use.

One-touch remote control in each of the tv and home cinema areas and the easy to use Sonos audio system make it simple to use and enjoy.

The addition of the cinema was a brilliant idea, it's a great place to sit back and unwind. The owners are very happy with the villa.
